Starting Today, July 23- 25, 2010, the Breckenridge Main Street Art Festival is showing over 100 artists from around the country. Artist’s art ranges from ceramics, mixed media, fiber, jewelry, painting, wood, glass, sculpture and much more.

2010 Breckenridge Beer Festival Features 26 Breweries and Live Music
Nothing beats the mountain summer heat than a cold, yummy, full-bodied, perfected, ice cold micro brew! And the Breckenridge Beer Festival going on this Saturday July 17th has over 26 breweries from around Colorado and the Country here in Breckenridge to satisfy your need for a unique cold one!
The Breckenridge Beer Festival not only has great micro brews but they are also making sure this Saturday is filled with awesome tunes from Kinetix, Funkiphino, and Whitewater Ramble. These bands will be rocking all day long with “soul-powered rock and roll”, 12 piece band funky tunes, and “high octane rocky mountain dance-grass”. Watch out it will get funky!
The Beer Festival is being held at the Main Street Station in downtown Breckenridge and starts 2pm-6pm for those with the unlimited tasting package, while the VIP ticket holders can get in at 1pm-6pm.

Breckenridge 100: Cross Country Mountain Bike Challenge Hits 13,719 feet.
Not all mountain bike competitions are the same especially in Breckenridge! The Breckenridge 100 on July 17th is definitely a unique race that features Solo and Three Person Team Competitions with a course that climbs 13,719 feet over its 100 miles.
100 miles are spent racing, climbing and peddling your way through three distinct cloverleaf shaped loops that is nestled between Breckenridge, Keystone and A-basin ski resorts. The three loops give teams a chance to maximize their strengths all while crossing the continental divide three different times… this is a very unique race! Racer check-in, late registration, and hospitality room will be at ResortQuest Breckenridge’s River Mountain Lodge property. French Gulch Guided Hike
Enjoy a guided hike through French Gulch, the location of dozens of early mining operations. See relics from the mining era. Reservation required- space is limited.
Where: From the Breckenridge Welcome Center head north on
Hwy 9. Turn right on Wellington. Follow Wellington until it
ends. Turn right on French Gulch Rd. Follow French Gulch
Rd. for approximately 1.5 miles. The B&B Trailhead is the
first parking lot/trailhead just past the Country Boy Mine on
the right hand side.

Wilderness Hike
Join the Breckenridge Recreation Dept. for a professional weekly guided hike around Breckenridge. From easy to difficult, these two hour hikes will entice your senses and teach you all you want to know about the high alpine eco-systems and it’s history. Be sure to dress for the weather and anticipate thunderstorms. Bring water, rain jacket, sunscreen, and hiking boots or shoes. No dogs allowed. Children under 4 must be in a carrying pack.
