Guided Historic Walking Tour:
Take the guided walk through Breckenridge’s nationally recognized historic district. 90 minute tour.
Where: Breckenridge Welcome Center
Time: Tuesday- Sunday, 11am

Iowa Hill Guided Hike
Enjoy this hike that winds through a historic mine site and up to a restored miners’ boarding house. Allow two hours for the hike.
Where: Meet at the Iowa Hill Trailhead, directly north of Public Works facilities on Airport Rd.
Time: Saturday 10am
Cost: $10 adults, $5 children 12 & under

French Gulch Guided Hike
Enjoy a guided hike through French Gulch, the location of dozens of early mining operations. See relics from the mining era. Reservation required- space is limited.
Where: From the Breckenridge Welcome Center head north on
Hwy 9. Turn right on Wellington. Follow Wellington until it
ends. Turn right on French Gulch Rd. Follow French Gulch
Rd. for approximately 1.5 miles. The B&B Trailhead is the
first parking lot/trailhead just past the Country Boy Mine on
the right hand side.
When: Thursdays at 10 a.m., starting on June 24, 2010

Wilderness Hike
Join the Breckenridge Recreation Dept. for a professional weekly guided hike around Breckenridge. From easy to difficult, these two hour hikes will entice your senses and teach you all you want to know about the high alpine eco-systems and it’s history. Be sure to dress for the weather and anticipate thunderstorms. Bring water, rain jacket, sunscreen, and hiking boots or shoes. No dogs allowed. Children under 4 must be in a carrying pack.

Time: Thursdays 10 am, June 10- Aug. 26
Cost: $12 per person

Breckenridge Golf Club Opens this Friday, May 21st 2010
The Breckenridge Golf Club will open for play this Friday, May 21st and the weather forecast currently looks good for golf. The practice range is now open.
Breckenridge Golf Club Named to List of Best Municipal Courses
The Breckenridge Golf Club was named this week to the 2010 Golfweek’s Best Municipal Courses list. Breckenridge is ranked as one of the top 50 layouts that fall under the "municipal" category. Breckenridge has garnered many national, regional and local accolades through the years.
“This new listing along with the 4 ½ Star Places to Play, rating from Golf Digest, demonstrates the top golf facility that Breckenridge is” said Erroll Miler, Golf Professional at the Breckenridge Golf Club. The course is also a Summit Daily, “Best of the Summit” golf course.
The course opened in 1985 with 9-holes and now attracts golfers from all over the globe who want to play the 27-hole, Jack Nicklaus design course. The tentative opening for the golf driving range is May 14, with the golf course slated to open on Friday, May 21, weather and conditions permitting.
March of Dimes
First Assistant Golf Professional Robbins Manley will be playing 100 holes of golf in one day as part of a state fundraiser being organized by the Colorado PGA to support the March of Dimes. Robbins will play his golf holes this Thursday, May 20. Please support Robbins and the March of Dimes by making a donation. Thank you in advance for your support. Any donation, even if it seems small, will help Robbins to meet his fundraising goal!

Breckenridge Beer Festival
NRC Broadcasting is proud to announce The Breckenridge Massive Spring Beer Festival. The festival features 12 microbrews and craft beers with unlimited tasting.
