For the Expert Skier:
Ptarmigan & Pika Runs: Black Diamonds. To ski Ptarmigan or Pika take the T-Bar lift. These killer runs are easy to access, have lots of open terrain, trees are great but optional, and the snow is excellent on a powder day.
The Bowls: Double Black Diamonds: Access the Bowls by taking Imperial Express SuperChair and take a hike to the Peak 8 Summit…and the world shall be your oyster. Enjoy awesome snow, awesome bumps, awesome views and awesome skiing.
And so much more: You could spend days or the rest of your life tackling all the amazing expert terrain that Breckenridge has to offer. So get out there and start one day at a time!
For the Intermediate:
Cashier Run: Blue Run: Get to Cashier by taking the Mercury Super Chair on Peak 9. Ski a long run with fun trees to duck in and out of on the sides of the run. Takes you right back to the Lift so you can do it all over again.
Monte Cristo: Blue Run: Access Monte Cristo from the Independence Super Chair on Peak 7. This run starts out high almost above tree line then cruises along the edge of the ski resort.
And soo many more: All of the lower portion of Peak 7 is great for intermediate with easy blue runs. If you are ready for more of a challenge head up to the Blues at Peak 8 via the Colorado Super Chair.
For the Beginner:
Powerline: Green Run: Access by taking the 5 chair at the base of Peak 8. This run and all the greens in this area have a good easy pitch all the way down to the base of each lift.
And so many more. There are perfect rolling runs at the base of Peak 8 where you can learn in a comfortable setting, and still see lots of terrain!
So come to Breckenridge and get familiar with the amazing terrain for all abilities!
