The venue will open at 9am with food and vendors open all day till 6pm. The beer tent provided by Guinness Beer will begin to flow the magical beer at noon. Music Lineup/Rundown: See Full Schedule
Expect incredible music from bands near and far- their music will inspire dance and hearty fun!
- Starting at 9am with Lynn Le Mieux know for her magical Irish and Scottish Gaelic ballads and lilting.
- 10:30 am you will be entranced by the dances of the Celtic Step Dancers performing traditional Irish step dance.
- This festival would not be complete without bagpipes! 11am the Colorado Emerald Society Pipes & Drums will perform complete with bagpipes and drums.
- 12:45pm Cara will take the stage. The band weaves flute, guitar, piano, fiddle, pipes, and concertina together with the brilliant vocals, working the Irish music with just a touch of the German folk influence to keep a different perspective on the music. Cara has been touring their home country of Germany extensively and has made festival appearances and played concerts in France, Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK and even in Ireland, and never failed to inspire their audience. First US tours since August 2007. In Jan 2010 Cara won the Irish Music Award in the category "Best New Irish Music Artist(s)". Watch the Video of Cara!
- Two Duos will follow at 1:30pm Members of Cara perform with members of The Old Blind Dogs. "Since forming in the early 1990's, Old Blind Dogs have stood on the cutting edge of Scotland’s roots revival. The band has developed its own trademark style with an energetic mix of songs and tunes. Dynamic percussion, polished vocals, soaring fiddle and stirring pipes fuel the delicately-phrased melodies and traditional songs. The only group to win 'Folk Band of the Year' twice at the BBC Scots Trad Music Awards, their latest album 'Four On The Floor' also picked up the IAP 'Best Celtic CD' Award."
- At 2:45 Potcheen will take the stage. Potcheen pronounced (Poe cheen) for those of you who know, it is an Irish Moonshine - Potcheen lives up to it's name with Celtic Rock Music. Formed in Denver Colorado, these Celtic Pirates have been touring the country delivering their high energy shows.
- And for the headliner at 4:30 pm The Young Dubliners! Their style of music has come to be called Celtic Rock for the fusion of Irish traditional instruments and music with modern rock. They have released eight albums - Rocky Road, Breathe, Alive Alive’O, Red, Absolutely, Real World, With All Due Respect – The Irish Sessions and Saints and Sinners. They have toured the United States and Europe since 1994, and have supported Jethro Tull, John Hiatt, Chris Isaak, Jonny Lang, Great Big Sea and Collective Soul.
