Breckenridge Festival of Film: 30th Year in the Making

The Breckenridge Festival of Film began yesterday June 10th and is running until June 13th. And there is more than enough to do and see- actually if you make it to all the events we want to know how you did it. See highlighted films that you shouldn't miss.

The Film Festival is in its 30th year and just like many a non-profits it has always had an interesting time keeping the bank account full, but despite the challenges, the maturity and age of this film festival makes it stand out.
‘“It turned out to be very successful,” said Karin Bearnarth, president of the festival's board of directors. “It gave these films with this subject matter a voice.”
And giving filmmakers a voice is one of Breckenridge Film Festival's aims — and one of the elements responsible for its popularity since it began in 1981.” reported the Summit Daily. image from "Noise"

The schedule for today has something for everyone and the timing is perfect. Even if you have to work you will be able to see some of it! So get out and see the Breckenridge Film Festival.
