TETER AND WHITE WIN GRAND PRIX FINALS

BRECKENRIDGE — U.S. Team members Hannah Teter and Shaun White won today's U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix halfpipe final in Breckenridge. In the women's competition, Gretchen Bleiler finished second, while Elena Hight placed third. In the men's final, Ross Powers finished in second, while Scott Lago rounded out the podium.

RECORD BREAKING NOVEMBER SNOWFALL IN BRECKENRIDGE!

Breckenridge and Keystone Ski Resorts opened for the season Friday, November 11th with two high speed quads and fresh snow for opening day. The resort started October off with an impressive snow storm delivering 30 inches of snow and two additional storms brought the October total snowfall to over 40 inches. This year has provided one of the best pre-seasons ever as November continued the pattern and delivered an inspiring 89 additional inches of snow to the resorts. This is the most snowfall received at this time of year since the resort began keeping records! The new Imperial Express Chair opened on December 2, a full six weeks ahead of schedule. This lift is the highest in North America and will shuttle skiers and riders to the top of Imperial Bowl, an astronomical 12,840 feet altitude.
