Labor Day - Rubber Duck races

The Breckenridge Rubber Duck races you know and love return to the cool, clear water of the Blue River in Breckenridge on Saturday, September 1st. Three competitions will mark the day with the Kids Duck Dash setting the pace at 2 p.m. in the first race of the day. The corporate Quackers will follow at 3 p.m. and the spectacular People’s Rubber Duck Race will be held at 4 p.m. and will wrap up the duck season with 10,000 little yellow rubber ducks “taking their mark” and competing for great prizes which include trips, season ski passes, services and merchandise for their lucky-duck adoptive owners! Come join us at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center starting at 11 a.m. for a great day complete with a BBQ, rockin’ music and kids’ games. ResortQuest Breckenridge will help host kids festivites at Main Street Station Breckenridge. Face painting, bouncy toys and train rides will fill the plaza.
