There are 9 categories that films could be submitted under including dramas, comedy, documentary, short drama, short comedy, animation, GBLT, spiritual and children.

Then in the warm afternoon sun hit up the Keystone Bike Park to ride some single track or take a scenic gondola ride!

Breckenridge Golf Club Opens this Friday, May 21st 2010

The Breckenridge Golf Club will open for play this Friday, May 21st and the weather forecast currently looks good for golf. The practice range is now open.

Breckenridge Golf Club Named to List of Best Municipal Courses

The Breckenridge Golf Club was named this week to the 2010 Golfweek’s Best Municipal Courses list. Breckenridge is ranked as one of the top 50 layouts that fall under the "municipal" category. Breckenridge has garnered many national, regional and local accolades through the years.

“This new listing along with the 4 ½ Star Places to Play, rating from Golf Digest, demonstrates the top golf facility that Breckenridge is” said Erroll Miler, Golf Professional at the Breckenridge Golf Club. The course is also a Summit Daily, “Best of the Summit” golf course.

The course opened in 1985 with 9-holes and now attracts golfers from all over the globe who want to play the 27-hole, Jack Nicklaus design course. The tentative opening for the golf driving range is May 14, with the golf course slated to open on Friday, May 21, weather and conditions permitting.  

March of Dimes

First Assistant Golf Professional Robbins Manley will be playing 100 holes of golf in one day as part of a state fundraiser being organized by the Colorado PGA to support the March of Dimes. Robbins will play his golf holes this Thursday, May 20. Please support Robbins and the March of Dimes by making a donation.  Thank you in advance for your support. Any donation, even if it seems small, will help Robbins to meet his fundraising goal!

Keystone’s Closing Weekend Fun! Come Celebrate the Close of a Great Ski Season.

Is it already that time of year when the season is coming to a close???…alas it is. Keystone’s closing weekend is April 10-11th and we are sad to see the snow go but we are excited to celebrate with the great activities planned for this closing weekend.
Closing weekend activities:

• Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam: The Peanut Butter and Rail Jam is Volcom's free amateur snowboard contest series dedicated to giving something back to the kids. To do something different than the regular rail jams, Volcom put their heads together and came up with a fresh format. Instead of having rails or features set up in a row, three rails are dug in side-by-each to create a single, large rail zone. The event is absolutely free, on a first-come first-serve basis and boasts tons of free prizes and PB&J sandwiches! Also, everyone who enters walks away with a Volcom PBRJ shirt plus other goodies. Earth Hour Sat March 27th at 8:30. How will you participate?

Kid’s Easter Weekend Party in Breckenridge 2010.

Once again the Breckenridge Ski Resort is hosting the Free Easter Celebrations all weekend April 3 & 4th, 2010. This is a great weekend to get up to the mountains with the whole family for two days of awesome kid’s and family events! And the best part is that it is all Free!

Play in the Interactive Kid's Village at the Base of Peak 8, with face painting, Mini Snow Sculpture Challenge, Easter Egg Hunt at the Kid's Tent and Breck's Mascot Riperoo hosting a Mini World Cup with Prizes.
