The snowy mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado is eagerly preparing to host what may fast become the celebrity event of the year: The Pro-Celebrity Union. Formerly hosted by Copper Mountain Resort, this event brings together Hollywood star power, talented musicians and some of the nation’s top skiers and riders, all in the name of charity. Backed by the Summit Foundation, a local Summit County, Colorado non-profit organization, the Pro-Celebrity Union is a four-day event filled with music and on-mountain exhibitions. Jeremy Bloom, the former Olympic ski team member, University of Colorado football star and Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver is on tap to host this year’s event. Bloom’s star-power is sure to propel this young event to the next level.
The Celebrity Union kicks-off Thursday, April 12 with the “Battle of the Badges” Hockey Classic, which pits local celebrities, Vail Resorts and Intrawest Resorts management and professional hockey players against one another for bragging rights and charity fundraising.
